The Icons ride, taking in some of the sights and locations that make Canterbury what it is. This ride will see us passing the iconic Christchurch Cathedral, riding a portion of Christchurch's longest road - Colombo Street. We'll soon hit the open road and travel the length of NZ's longest straight section of road - South Eyre Road before making our way to Homer's Donut in Springfield. From there it's a quick ride to get some lunch in Hororata. Then it's off to visit the Rakaia Salmon and back over the longest bridge in the country - the Rakaia. We'll skirt through Southbridge, home of the legendary Crusader and All Black Dan Carter and make our way out to the Lakeside Memorial. Following the lake it's back towards the city, stopping for a chapter photo at the Christchurch sign and then a short ride to our final destination - The Halswell (site of one of the oldest pubs in Canterbury) for a debrief and a fanta
