Chapter Ride - Pleasant Point

Meet Rolling Thunder. Safety briefing 10.15am. Ride departs 10.30am.

The weather is warmer and the roads are calling, so let's spend a Saturday on the bikes! Leaving the confines of the city behind, we'll take SH1 heading south for a decent run, letting those big engines roar! Heading inland to Geraldine, we're taking a new route into Pleasant Point that will be sure to impress (no shingle roads, we promise!)

After lunch at the Pleasant Point Hotel, we'll make our way through Geraldine (again) and head up the Inland Scenic route as we ride on a very indirect way back towards Christchurch.

A refreshment stop in Darfield before we part, and the city riders head back down the West Coast Rd until we reach Yaldhurst where the ride will officially end.
